What is a BodyTalk Session?

And What to expect….

BodyTalk sessions are easy, safe and comfortable. A session usually last between 15 & 45 minutes. The length is not indicative of anything the most simplest of sessions can be profound.

A session will start with a brief discussion about your health and emotional issues. The practitioner will make notes and ask additional questions if necessary.

The practitioner will then ask you to lie down on a treatment table. Sessions are done fully clothed, there is no need to disrobe. The practitioner will touch your arm and certain areas of your body if you are comfortable with being touched.

Your bodymind complex has inborn knowledge of itself and will know just how many changes it is ready to initiate. The practitioner, by using a Protocol Chart, will quickly establish the unique priorities through a biofeedback or muscle testing technique. The purpose of this is to establish where communication is disrupted or weakened and any additional details that are relevant. The main areas or destination points are linked in a specific sequence and will be addressed in that order. This sequence is called a formula.

Once all the priorities have been revealed, a tapping procedure is initiated. Through this tapping procedure the brain is urged to fix the faulty communication, the heart to store the changes and the gut to integrate the corrections. Tapping on the body to get it to focus on healing has been used by some indigenous holistic systems, such as yoga, for centuries.

Usually at the end of a session a date and time will be set for the next session. Each session is remembered by the Bodymind complex and follow up sessions will build on the one before, thus continuing the healing process in each additional session.
